Part of building a sustainable food system is tapping into the abundance of locally grown produce that can often go to waste if not harvested in time.
Our Humber Valley Fruit Rescue project helps distribute the fruit growing in our area.
Anyone can contact us to enlist a team of pickers for their fruit.
The harvest is split three ways: a third is offered to the homeowners, a third is shared among the volunteers, and a third is delivered to local organizations in our community or used to raise funds for our other projects.
